Assault, extortion, humiliation: Kanpur teen thrashed; forced to lick saliva, drink urine
The assailants, including Deepak Pal, Shantanu, and Deekay, extorted Rs 6,000 from him and forced him to perform degrading acts, which they recorded. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to apprehend the accused, promising stringent legal action.

KANPUR: A group of local youths from the Gujaini police station limits allegedly kidnapped a 17-year-old boy, subjected him to severe physical assault, and extorted Rs 6,000 from him at an isolated location. The assailants also forced him to lick saliva and consume urine. Taking cognisance of a video of the incident, the authorities registered a case and launched an investigation.The victim, who runs a cosmetics shop in Gujaini, recounted that on the evening of June 25, while he was at his shop, he received a telephone call from an acquaintance, Deepak Pal, a resident of Jarauli, who requested him to meet at Ram Gopal Chowk.When the victim reached the location, Deepak, accompanied by Shantanu and Deekay, made him sit in a vehicle and took him to a room where they assaulted him. The perpetrators forced him to perform humiliating acts and recorded the incident.Deputy commissioner of police (South) Deependra Nath Chaudhary said that a case had been registered against the three individuals. “Two teams have been assigned to nab the accused. They will be arrested soon and will face stringent legal action,” the DCP added.
